Thank you to all our clients for letting us
be a part of your lives and for referring us to others. Our
continued success is due to you! Just as life is not a destination,
but a journey; our new studio location and flower gardens are
an ongoing project. The studio is next to a beautiful nature
preserve. When the flowers were put into the garden the butterflies
came from everywhere and have decided to stay. Every day, all
day - it's wonderful! We continue to add new and unique ideas
to keep ourselves "thinking outside the box." We
encourage you to bring your ideas and work together with us
to create new and fun images for your family to enjoy.
Our canvas is the changing landscape of our
private butterfly gardens and pond as well as the indoor studio.
In this setting, we create images that preserve quiet moments
of surreal beauty and exquisite sentiment. In this day and
age, with the demanding schedules we keep, our lives go by
so quickly; and our families changes before our eyes. That's
why, at Laake Portrait Gallery, we believe capturing relationships
is as important as the beautiful, individual portraits we create
of your children.
We sometimes travel to other cities to offer
our unique portraits of new babies. During those weeks we are
not available for sittings at our studio location. If you are
interested in having us come to your area call the studio and
we'll give you the details of how that works.
A. From Tampa Airport - Take
the Veterans Hwy north. Pay 2 tolls and get off at exit 14
(VanDyke Rd.) Go left on VanDyke about 1.5 miles to first light,
Gunn Hwy. Go right on Gunn about 2 miles to Lutz Lake Fern
Rd. Go right on Lutz Lake Fern to 7426 Lutz Lake Fern on right
(one driveway past Stillwater Subdivision). Once you turn into
the driveway it will pass a house on the left, keep going to
the end.
B. From St. Pete - Take 275
across the Howard Franklin Bridge. Follow signs toward Tampa
Airport then follow directions A.
C1. From Clearwater - Take the
Courtney Campbell Bridge to Tampa. Follow signs to Veterans,
then follow directions A.
C2. Go north on McMullen
Booth to Tarpon Springs / Keystone Rd. Right on
Tarpon Springs about 7 miles to Gunn Hwy. Go left on Gunn
to Lutz Lake Fern Rd. Go right on Lutz Lake Fern to 7426
Lutz Lake Fern - on right (one driveway past Stillwater Subdivision).
Once you turn into the driveway it will pass a house on the
left, keep going to the end.
D. From I 75 exit at Hwy. 56
(one exit north of Bruce B. Downs) go west to Hwy. 41 (Land
of Lakes). Go left on 41 then go towards the right onto Dale
Mabry. Go about 1 mile to Lutz Lake Fern. Go right on Lutz
Lake Fern about 5 miles. After you go under the Suncoast Pkwy.
go another 1.5 miles to 7426 Lutz Lake Fern on left (if you
see Stillwater Subdivision you went one driveway too far).
Once you turn into the driveway it will pass a house on the
left, keep going to the end.

to friday. Some saturdays.
Because we do location sessions, everything is by appointment.
